Parma have finally added Paolo De Ceglie to their squad after agreeing to sign the Juventus defender on loan for the season.

De Ceglie had been thought to be surplus to new Bianconeri coach Massimiliano Allegri’s plans, and his departure had been expected over the summer.

Tuttomercatoweb.com report that a deal has been concluded between Juventus and the Ducali to take the former Genoa loanee to the Stadio Ennio Tardini for the rest of the season.

Following that loan period, Roberto Donadoni’s side will have the option to purchase the left-back permanently, though no fee is thought to have been set as yet.

De Ceglie progressed through the Juventus youth system and after making a handful of first team appearances was sold to Siena. An impressive season with the Robur inspired the Vecchia Signora to re-purchase the youngster, and he had been on the fringes of Antonio Conte’s squad, making 90 appearances, until he was loaned to the Grifone in January.
