The 45-year-old managed to help the Azzurri secure 2-0 wins over both the Netherlands and Norway recently and has already left a good impression on the Italy players since his arrival.

Perin spoke to Toscana TV about Conte’s positive influence on the Italian squad and his ability to help earn good results right from the start.

“Conte is a great coach and he was able to immediately give a very clear outline to the team of how our games were supposed to be played out,” said the 21-year-old Grifone man.

“The results have been seen immediately. This has been a great starting point for him.”

Antonio Conte’s next task will be preparing Italy for their two Euro 2016 qualifiers against Azerbaijan and Malta in October.
