Following Genoa’s 1-0 win over Lazio, Mauricio Pinilla cannot wait to score in the Derby della Lanterna.
The Chilean striker secured the home victory for I Rossoblu Sunday afternoon in week 2 of the Serie A campaign, scoring a late 87th minute goal after coming off the bench for Alessandro Matri.
“It was great to score today in the North,” the 30-year-old told Sky Sport Italia.
“In the future I hope to score in the derby against Sampdoria.”
Pinilla is off to a fine start in his Genoa career after joining from Cagliari in the summer transfer window, scoring two goals in three matches so far this season.
