Lazio coach Stefano Pioli admits that the Biancocelesti are going through a crisis of results as they prepare to take on Palermo in Sicily on Monday.

The coach has demanded a drastic change from his team after their most recent defeat to Udinese, their third of the season in four matches.

“I command everyone, the old guard and the young guard, that if we want the results we will have to do something extra to get them,” he stated at his pre-match press conference.

“The standings are incredible. We’re not dreaming. We have to improve quickly.

“My return to the Barbera? I have already returned to Palermo and we always return in a positive way. My experience there was too short.

“Zamparini is blunt, like me. They always take president’s decision, and at that time he decided to release me.”

“We are in crisis because of the results. It comes down to putting in all the necessary work. I believe that we are laying the foundation to come back strong.

“For Lazio, it will now take getting results. At Palermo we need a change in direction, and we came out wrong last game.

“In the first three days we showed continuity and growth despite the two defeats.  It is my responsibility. We had injuries, and had to make changes. But, the truth is that they pay me to handle these issues. “
