Lazio boss Stefano Pioli has revealed that the Aquilotti are focused on securing good results in order to satisfy the club’s fans.

The Biancocelesti had started off the season on the wrong foot with a 3-1 loss to AC Milan but have quickly redeemed themselves with a 3-0 victory over Cesena at home on Sunday and the tactician appreciates the enthusiasm that has been demonstrated by the supporters this season thus far.

Pioli spoke to Lazio Style Radio about the passion shown by the Lazio fans as of late and insisted that the capital city club is working hard to continue pleasing everyone who has stuck by them during hard times.

“Our fans have been showing great passion and enthusiasm,” said the 48-year-old. “Now it’s up to us to repay them by showing them what we’re made of.

“Living in Rome you can feel this passion and the faith shown in this shirt. We didn’t start the way we wanted, because the meeting with Milan did not reward us, but the team is there.

“The fans expect the facts and we are working for this, we hope to make them happy.”
