Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic is confident that the Giallorossi fans will be very supportive of their team when they play CSKA Moscow on Wednesday night in the Champions League.
The Bosnian international spoke about the atmosphere at Rome’s Stadio Olimpico as well as the challenge Roma faces in Europe this season ahead of their first European fixture.
“To do well in the Champions [League], it helps to have efficiency and maximum concentration,” Pjanic told AS Roma Match Program.
“They are games of the highest quality and we cannot miss anything because you will pay for it.
“Every game you need to give 100 per cent with maximum attention.
“Our fans are fantastic and I know that they will give us a hand, not only in the UEFA Champions League but also in the league.
“It is always a beautiful sensation to play in a full [Stadio] Olimpico.”
