Roma and Napoli will both try to reportedly entice Atletico Madrid midfielder Mario Suarez to the Serie A in January.
The 27 year old Spanish international turned down a move to Napoli in the summer, opting to stay at the La Liga title holders to try and retain his place in the lineup.
Fichajes.net report that Suarez was disappointed about being dropped in the derby against Real Madrid over the weekend, and has changed his mind about a move abroad.
There is strong interest from both Napoli and Roma, who would have to part with €15 million to take the tenacious midfielder from Atletico.
Suarez has scored three goals in 155 appearances for the Spanish giants since 2005.
