Roma coach Rudi Garcia refused to talk up his side’s chances of winning the Serie A title despite their win over Parma maintaining their perfect start to the season.

Adem Ljajic’s first half strike for the Lupi was cancelled out by Paolo De Ceglie’s header before Miralem Pjanic scored a late free-kick to seal three points for Rudi Garcia’s men.

“We can not talk of the league, it is the fourth round, we have maximum points and this means that Roma always takes the field to win,” said the Frenchman, speaking to Sky Sport Italia.

“We knew that here in Parma the game would be difficult, we need to know how to win in different ways and to score three minutes from the end brings even more joy.”

The Giallorossi sit joint top of Serie A with Juventus and host Verona in their next game.
