Sampdoria defender Alessio Romagnoli has insisted that his side must continue in their current vain of form following his sides 2-1 victory of Chievo Verona at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
Debutante Romagnoli scored the winner in this evenings fixture to continue the Blucerchiati’s unbeaten start to the season.
“Tonight we enjoyed the victory,” explained the youngster. “These are only the first matches of season, so we must continue to do well and play our style in every game.
He then went on to reflect upon the young players in the Sampdoria squad.
“How do we compare with the senior players? They will tell you the results. We should continue like this. I think it is essential to play the young players. Letting us play in Serie A is the best thing to do.”
Finally he turned his attention to the clubs next match against Genoa.
“The derby? It will definitely be fantastic.”
