Fiorentina striker Giuseppe Rossi has admitted that he was satisfied with the Gigliati’s performance in their 1-1 draw with Torino on Sunday.

The 27-year-old, who is currently in the United States nursing his most recent knee injury, watched the Viola’s away meeting against the Granata with a group of fans in New York and revealed that he was happy to see positive performances from young forwards Khouma Babacar and Federico Bernardeschi.

Rossi spoke to FanClubGiuseppeRossiNY.com following Fiorentina’s draw with Torino about the result and complimented his team-mates for their showing against the Turin side.

“When I’m New York I usually follow Fiorentina on the TV or internet,” said the Italian international. “When I can, I’ll go to the restaurant Ribalta since they show most of the games and make excellent pizza.

“During today’s game I saw a great determination from Fiorentina, Bernardeschi and Babacar are two young talents who gave their all as usual. We are happy to have them with us.”
