Catania Calcio v US Sassuolo - TIM CupSassuolo coach Eusebio Di Francesco is proud see that his players are being selected for the Italy squads.

Neroverdi striker Simone Zaza was selected for the Azzurri and his attacking partner Domenico Berardi was selected for the Azzurrini and both choices give Di Francesco great satisfaction.

“It is a pleasure to have players called-up to the national team,” Di Francesco told Sky Sport Italia. “I hope to give more awareness to our squad.

“It is good these things come, we must be good at not making it a problem.

“We work in a determined way and I am happy that we serve the national team. It pleases me to have seen my boys welcome back Zaza with [singing] the national anthem.

“This love for the Azzurri is truly felt here at Sassuolo. To evaluate our path increases the pride of having Berardi and Zaza in the national team.

“We must ride the enthusiasm without limiting ourselves [by] continuing to work on the field.”
