Sassuolo have completed the loan signing of Inter midfielder Saphir Taider.
The Neroverdi swooped in after Premier League side Southampton terminated the loan of the Algerian, which saw the player return to the Nerazzurri.
Sassuolo’s official website states that the Neroverdi have the option to purchase the player on a permanent deal should the loan move be considered successful at the end of the season.
Taider joins the Emilia-Romagna based club on the same day as goalkeeper Andrea Consigli, as the club look to strengthen for their second season in Italy’s top flight.
The 22-year-old joined Inter from fellow Serie A side Bologna last year for a fee of €5.5 million.
