Modena’s Andrea Schiavone praised his fellow teammates on their recent 1 – 0 against Pro Vercelli.

The Canarini won the match, thanks to a late goal by Pablo Mariano Granoche in the dying minutes of stoppage time.

The Serie B midfielder took to Facebook to comment on the win and his team’s future moving forward.

“We knew that we needed points, and we took advantage of the good home game against Pro Vercelli,” the 21 one year old wrote on the social media site.

“We have demonstrated as a very compact group, managing to create many scoring chances. Now we have to continue like this if we aspire to have a good championship.”

Schiavone also wrote a message of gratitude for the chances his new club has given him.

“I’m very grateful to the team and the coach for the opportunity they are giving me to grow and play in an important team like this.

“The responsibility does not scare me,” he insisted.

Schiavone joined Modena on loan from Juventus at the start of the 2014/15 season.
