Premier League club Southampton have found agreement with Serie A side Inter to cancel the season-long loan of midfielder Saphir Taider, who is now expected to be rushed into another short-term move away from the San Siro.

The Algerian had moved to England as part of the deal to take Pablo Osvaldo back to Serie A after a equally disastrous spell with the south coast club last season but the 22-year-old has managed to last even less time in England.

The former Bologna man has spent just three weeks at the club after his return from international duty at the World Cup in Brazil but Tuttomercatoweb have confirmed that the two clubs have agreed to terminate the deal.

The French-born midfielder only joined the Nerazzurri last summer in a €5.5m deal from the Rossoblu but after just 15 Serie A appearances yielded a solitary goal appears to have done little to convince coach Walter Mazzarri he was worthy of a second chance.
