Udinese boss Andrea Stramaccioni has expressed confidence in his side’s ability to defeat any team at the Stadio Friuli this season.

The comments arise following the Zebrette’s 1-0 win against Napoli as a goal from centre back Danilo decided this drab affair. Both sides were not particularly outstanding however, it was the home team that took their chance when it mattered the most.

“It was important to redeem ourselves after the defeat against Juventus,” said Stramaccioni at the post match conference.

“We have shown that we can play against anyone at home and Napoli is a great team for whom we prepared well.”

The former Inter boss also was delighted having collected his second win of the season but does not want his side to get carried away too much.

“We are working well, but we keep our feet on the ground. Thursday we face Lazio and I want the team to maintain this determination and humility,” Stramaccioni said.

The Zebrette have climbed to fourth spot in the Serie A table with 6 points from 3 games.
