Inter president Erick Thohir says the club belongs to the the fans and he only manages it.
The Indonesian businessman took over the reigns at the San Siro from former president Massimo Moratti in October 2013 and has been praised for his work he has undertaken with the Nerazzurri since the take over.
“It’s true, I manage the club but it belongs to the fans of Inter all over the world,” Thohir told the Asia Pacific Media Forum.
“Football is a huge business now, it is no longer just a sport, it’s a consumer and media business.
“With digitization now there is always interaction between the club and the fans.
“When we launched our three social media platforms we made sure it reached as big an audience as possible, fans appreciate this and it makes the club stronger and makes good business sense.”
