The Totti connection with Roma looks set to last for some time yet after captain Francesco’s son Cristian made his debut with the club.

He made his debut with the club’s underage side for nine-year-olds on Tuesday after impressing on a number of trials in May with the Giallorossi.

Cristian, who turns nine himself in November, had this week taken his first training sessions with the club’s youngest side, the Pulcini team according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Totti junior has performed very well during appearances with his Longarina school team although given his age, it obviously remains very early to get too carried away with the situation.

On Monday, Totti brought his son with him to first team training in order to allow him to get used to the environment at Trigoria.

The Pulcini side, for children born in 2005 or lower, will be coached by Pietro Donadio and is a seven-a-side team on a small, narrow field.
