Alejandro Mazzoni has insisted that his clients Ezequiel Lavezzi and Hugo Campagnaro will both stay at Paris Saint-Germain and Inter respectively.

Lavezzi had been linked with a move to the Nerazzurri while Campagnaro was mentioned in connection with a transfer to Sampdoria or Genoa, but the players’ agent insists there will not be a deadline day move for either of his clients.

“Lots has been written about Lavezzi to Inter but there haven’t been any negotiations,” said Mazzoni to FcInternews.it.

“I don’t believe that it would be easy for any club to replace a player like Lavezzi.

“I speak often with the Inter directors and I’ve always been clear: if you want Lavezzi then you have to speak with the French club.

“There’s no chance of anything happening before 23:00 on September 1.

“Campagnaro will stay in Milan and Lavezzi in Paris.”

The former Napoli winger made 32 appearances for PSG in the 2013/14 Ligue 1 season and scored nine goals.

Campagnaro made 21 appearances for Inter in the 2013/14 Serie A season and spoke of his determination to stay when it was expected he would be sold.
