Udinese midfielder Allan has urged his teammates to remain united and aggressive if they intend on enjoying a successful season.

The Zebrette beat Parma 4-2 on Monday night, thus climbing to third place on the league standings.

“I do what the coach asks me,” he said in an interview with Udinese Channel, “then the whole team has to do well and work great.

“We were lucky because they [Parma] had so many opportunities they didn’t take.

“Guilherme? I feel good with him because he’s Brazilian like me, but everyone who plays has to give his best to make a difference and get the positive result.”

The 23-year-old then spoke of the importance of teamwork and the support of the Udine faithful in the club’s attempt to record a magical season.

“Udinese is a team that wants to win as many matches as possible and so we have to be compact, united and aggressive, because in Serie A, every game is difficult.

“At home, we feel the support of our fans, so here we have to make the game difficult for our opponents and take as many points as possible, and give our best to go as far as we can.”

Allan has made 64 appearances for the Friuli outfit since signing for a fee of 3 million from Deportivo Maldonado in 2012.
