Udinese are looking to secure the signature of Belgian midfielder Nill De Pauw from Lokeren before the close of the transfer window.
The 24-year-old has been a target of the Zebrette for some time, and seems set to sign for Andrea Stramaccioni’s side on a permanent basis for a yet undisclosed fee.
DH.be, a Belgian news site, report that the two clubs are likely to finalise a deal for De Pauw in the run-up to the transfer deadline, as the former Inter coach attempts to recruit a forward to act as back-up for Antonio Di Natale and Luis Muriel.
Kinshasa born De Pauw has been with the Tricolore for six seasons and made 150 appearances for the side, as well as progressing through all the youth ranks of Belgium’s international teams up to the Under-21 level.
The right-sided forward has helped Lokeren to two Belgian cup titles in the last three seasons and seen his club into this seasons Europa League.
