Torino coach Giampiero Ventura has responded to his critics following his side’s 2-1 victory over Cagliari at the Stadio Sant’Elia.
The Italian has revitalised the Granata squad by introducing younger and emerging players into the line-ups a move with much media negativity.
“The criticism of our work should be accepted,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“But it is normal that [when] you invest in young players, you cannot have everything soon, that happens with million dollar investments.
“Not to us, we have focussed on youth and only time will tell, but it will always be the pitch that decides,” he said.
