Cagliari boss Zdenek Zeman has outlined the attacking qualities his team had in their 4-1 win at Inter.

After Albin Ekdal’s first-half hat-trick, The Rossoblu took a famous three points from the Guiseppe Meazza, with Victor Ibarbo also impressing down the right-wing.

Speaking to Sky Sport Italia about Ibarbo, Zeman said,”He must attack the [right] because [he] has precisely these qualities.”

“I’ve always been convinced that this team can play football. I think we have good values and I always hope to play with the same intensity.

“In other games we were always worried about fitness, instead of thinking about attacking. Today we tried and it went well.

“If you win at Inter, who have ambitions for the title, it means that you have played well. We are satisfied. Hopefully that will let me work.

“We lost matches, but, for example, against Torino there was an oversight by the referee, otherwise we would not have lost.”

Cagliari’s first win of the season lifts them to 13th in the table, with Inter stuck in fourth.
