AC Milan defender focussed on Fiorentina clash

alex ac milanAC Milan defender Alex says attentions have immediately turned to next Sunday’s Fiorentina game, after a 3-1 win at Hellas Verona.

The Rossoneri sit fourth in Serie A after Keisuke Honda scored twice, with opposition defender Rafa Marques netting an own goal.

“We have worked very hard today and played our best, now we must focus on the next game, which will be difficult,” he told Milan Channel.

“Christian Abbiati had a great game and contributed to the result.

The 32-year-old Brazilian also spoke about his own form which has been excellent since his arrival from PSG in the summer.

“I feel very good, I have everything I need at Milan to work hard and do my best,” the defender continued.

“The whole team has done well, the important thing was how we worked together.”

Alex started his fourth Serie A game of the season in Verona.
