AC Milan are reportedly interested in landing Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira at the end of the season.
The 27-year-old, whose current contract with the Spanish giants is set to expire in June 2015, has been heavily linked with a move away from the Meringues in recent months with Arsenal being seen as the favourites in eventually securing his services, though the Rossoneri are willing to put up a fight for him due to their good relationship with Madrid.
According to Tuttosport, AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has had his sights set on the German international for quite some time now and would be looking to pick him up on a free transfer this summer.
Besides the Gunners, the former Stuttgart man has also been a target of Premier League sides Manchester United and Chelsea.
Khedira arrived at Real Madrid from Stuttgart in 2010 and has scored a total of six goals in his 93 Primera Division appearances since then.
