AC Milan are targeting a surprise move for in-form Fiorentina front-man Khouma Babacar in the January transfer window.
The 21 year old Senegalese youth international has enjoyed a rich vein of form lately in the absence of Mario Gomez and Giuseppe Rossi, including a brace midweek against Udinese in the 3-0 win.
Lady Radio reports that Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani was impressed with the striker’s performance during his side’s tussle with Fiorentina on the weekend.
Therefore it will be no surprise if Galliani contacts Viola directors Daniele Prade and Eduardo Macia in the near future to discuss the availability of the powerful striker.
Babacar currently has four goals in eight Serie A appearances so far this season.
