AC Milan are reportedly interested in signing Atalanta midfielder Daniele Baselli to bolster their squad for the second half of the season.
Though there is plenty of time remaining until the transfer market opens in January, the Rossoneri are said to be impressed with the 22-year-old whom they consider one of the most exciting young players in Italy at the moment.
According to Tuttosport, the Diavolo have already established contact with La Dea as city cousins Inter are also keen on the Brescia-born player.
A graduate of Atalanta’s youth academy, Baselli recorded one goal in 50 Serie B appearances for Cittadella during his two-year stint on a co-ownership deal. He has also featured 23 times for the Nerazzurri in Serie A.
