Massimiliano Allegri has revealed that he has to respect the quality of tomorrow’s Champions League opponents Olympiacos and that it will be a difficult game for the Bianconeri.

After two rounds of matches in the group all four teams have three points the Greek outfit surprised a strong Atletico Madrid side in their opening fixture and Allegri is well aware of the danger they pose.

“What do I think of Olympiacos? We have great respect [for them],” Allegri told the press.

“They beat Atletico and they play good football. They have a coach who plays with the Spanish mentality of controlling the ball and possession.

“It is going to be difficult for us as well as them, the Champions League is never easy.

“Tomorrow will not be decisive, but it is important. We play here tomorrow in Athens and then in 15 days time we face them at home and we will have to ensure we play the games the way we want to.”

He also discussed the squad for the game: “I’ve selected 18 plus the goalkeepers and they are all available and in good shape.

“I still have several choices to make, I have chosen the four defenders.

“[Arturo] Vidal is better, over the past few days he has improved his physical condition.

“Tomorrow I hope to see the great Vidal, even if he is not at 100 percent for the entire 90 minutes.”
