Arsenal are planning a shock move for on-loan Atalanta striker Richmond Boakye in the upcoming transfer window.
The 21 year old Ghanaian international is currently on loan to the Orobici from Juventus, and has impressed in his few starting appearances for the club, netting two goals thus far this term.
The Daily Star report that Juventus have rejected the first move from Arsenal, as they would rather hold onto the promising striker for the time being as they evaluate whether he can handle the rigors of Italian top flight football.
This may change however, in the winter if Arsenal can convince the Bianconeri to sell, as they look to reinforce their forward line.
Boakye spent last season at Spanish outfit Elche, netting six goals in 31 appearances.
