Roma director Mauro Baldissoni says coach Rudi Garcia know what went wrong for the Giallorossi after they suffered a humiliating 7-1 home defeat to Bayern Munich on Tuesday night in the Champions League.
Roma conceded five first half goals to the German champions but pulled one back early in the second half but two further goals by Bayern ended Roma’s unbeaten home record this season.
“Bayern are superior to Roma at this time, they are one of the strongest teams in the world,” Baldissoni told Roma TV.
“Maybe we suffered because we thought we were as good as them and the coach [Garcia] knows what went wrong.
“We must take stock of this now and improve when we face them next and we must show the gap is not a huge as this scoreline shows.”
