Bayern Munich’s Thomas Muller professed his respect for Roma’s Francesco Totti as the two prepare to meet in the Champions League.
Muller will face Totti and his teammates in Rome on Tuesday evening, with the World Cup-winning German international asked if he was the Totti of Bayern.
“Totti is a legend not only in Rome but throughout the world,” Müller said.
“He’s known everywhere. I am on the right track [to be like Totti], but I must change.
“I am happy to play against a team that plays aggressively and does not close themselves off in their own half of the field.”
Bayen sit top of Group E on six points, with Roma currently two points adrift in second position.
