Lazio midfielder Lucas Biglia said that he though his side played well during their 1-1 draw away at Hellas Verona but is disappointed by the result after Luca Toni equalised in the second half.

He also praised the group spirit at the Biancocelesti and said it is allowing the side to perform at their best.

“If we all push in the same direction then we’re more than a team of just 11,” said Biglia in his post-match comments to Lazio Style Radio.

“We’re a bit disappointed by the result, because I believe that we played a good game.

“Up until the penalty they created very little, but we need to improve if we are to be higher in the standings.”

The Argentine also spoke further about Lazio’s objectives for the rest of the season.

“We want to finish as high up the table as possible, there’s the desire from the coach and the squad but we need to stop making certain errors, because in this league you pay a dear price for them.

“Every game in Serie A is difficult.”
