Gianluigi Buffon is set to make his 500th Juventus appearance against Genoa on Wednesday evening.
That number brings him closer to surpassing club legends Giuseppe Furino and Gaetano Scirea, who have 528 and 552 appearances, respectively.
Indeed, according to Tuttosport, the Italian No.1 has no intention of hanging up his gloves just yet, and fully intends to stay with Juventus until at least 2018.
It is thought he wants to break the all-time appearance record of 705 set by his former teammate Alessandro Del Piero.
