Cesena coach Pierpaolo Bisoli has bemoaned his side’s lack of set piece prowess in the wake of their defeat to Palermo.

Bisoli’s side went down 2-1 at Stadio Renzo Barbera, with Palermo scoring the winner in stoppage time with a header from a corner, a game in which also saw Manuel Coppola dismissed.

“I’m disappointed we didn’t get at least a point after a game like that,” Bisoli told Sky Sport Italia.

“We had two chances to take the lead, and ending up losing a goal from a dead-ball situation.

“It’s a characteristic of ours, as we don’t have much height in the team. We were in control, even though we had 10 men.”

The defeat means Cesena now sit level on points with Palermo in 15th place, after six points from their opening seven games.

Things don’t look like getting any easier for Bisoli, as Cesena welcome Inter next week, before heading to the Olimpico to face Roma.
