Cesena will host visiting side Hellas Verona at the Stadio Dino Manuzzi on Monday night in one of the final Serie A matches of Week 10.

Newly promoted Cesena have only been able to muster one win so far this season and sit third from the bottom ahead of Chievo and Parma in the relegation dogfight.

Verona, on the other hand, have managed to grab three wins and three draws in these early stages of the season and sit in 11th in the table with 12 points earned.

Cesena had a difficult time against Roma midweek as the Giallorossi easily disposed of Pierpaolo Bisoli’s squad aside winning 2-0, while the Gialloblu were able to grab a point at home against Lazio as Luca Toni was able to convert a penalty in the second half to secure a 1-1 draw.

This will be the first time these two teams have met since the 2012-2013 Serie B campaign where both games were split 1-1 and 0-0 respectively. Verona looks to have the upper hand as most of their squad is healthy for this upcoming match.

The Cavallucci Marini will have it tough at the back as promising goalkeeping youngster Nicola Leali will be suspended for the upcoming match after receiving an early red card during their 1-0 defeat to Inter in Week 8.

Veteran Italian goalkeeper Federico Agliardi will most likely get the start again as he did against Roma.

However, Bisoli will have veteran midfielder Emmanuel Cascione back in the fold after he was unavailable for the midweek encounter due to suspension.

Cesena will also be without striking duo Alejandro Rodríguez and Guido Marilungo due to injuries which means 24-year-old Bosnian striker Milan Djuric looks likely to start from the opening whistle.

Andrea Mandorlini’s side has no suspensions for the match but will be left without the services of Brazilian and Uruguayan defenders Rafael Marques and Guillermo Rodríguez at the back due to injuries.

Italian youngster Jacopo Sala and Moroccan Mounir Obbadi will both be unavailable for the midfield as the two are also dealing with a nagging injuries.

Expected Starting XIs

Cesena: Agliardi; Capelli, Lucchini, Volta, Renzetti; Giorgi, De Feudis, Cascione; Defrel, Brienza; Djuric.

Verona: Rafael; Martic, Moras, Marquez, Agostini; Campanharo, Tachtsidis, Hallfreosson; Nico López, Toni, Jankovic.
