Cagliari midfielder Daniele Conti admitted that after a tough start, his side are starting to get to grips with what attack-minded coach Zdenek Zeman expects of them.
He spoke very briefly in the mixed zone after his side’s 1-1 draw with AC Milan to give his thoughts on how his side are adjusting to the popular Czech coach’s methods.
“To be honest, I find it hard to digest this game and speak of it so soon afterwards,” the veteran told Sky Sport Italia. “But I will say that the philosophy of the coach and what he wants us to do will take time to get right.
“That said, I think we are getting better with every game and improving all the time.”
After a somewhat shaky start to the season, the Isolani sit in 14th place in the table with nine points from their nine games so far.
