Inter defender Danilo D’Ambrosio insists he looks to give his all for the Nerazzurri every time they take the pitch after Thursday’s victory over Qarabag.

The Inter wing-back opened the scoring in their 2-0 win against the Azerbaijani champions in the UEFA Europa League  but he did not want to take too much attention away from fellow goalscorer Mauro Icardi.

“It will be difficult to contend the goalscorer’s throne with Icardi,” D’Ambrosio told Inter Channel. “We have great attackers and it is up to them to score.

“We wanted to start strongly to give more confidence to the environment and also to ourselves and I would say that we succeeded.

“Just like in the past I look to give 101 per cent for Inter, above all with this shirt that is the most important in my career.

“The goal? I dedicate it to my family, my girlfriend and to the group, which is proving to be strong and I hope it will be demonstrated when in difficulty.”
