Inter’s Dodo believes that the Nerazzurri dominated Napoli during the first half of their recent draw on Sunday evening and that his team did not panic at the end of the game.

Inter salvaged a draw against Napoli after a chaotic final eleven minutes that yielded all 4 goals and the Brazilian fullback feels that the team was calm in the build up to Hernanes’ header in injury time.

“Was the equalizer more from nerves than thought? We worked the ball from Juan Jesus from the back,” Dodo told Sempreinter.com.

“We did not go up the pitch in desperation, we dribbled the ball as we had done all game long and we were able to score.”

He also reflected on the team’s first half performance.

“In the first half we dominated the game, we played our game and we played well,” the player continued.

“In the last few minutes [of the game] everything happened, but we were able to equalize.”

On his individual contribution he added: “I think I did well. I have always tried to get the ball inside to our forwards.

“I tried to stay high up the field in order to help the team and in the end I even managed to make an assist, so I’m happy.”
