Parma boss Roberto Donadoni is adamant that his team must enter their upcoming match against Inter with the right attitude if they hope to end their embarrassing run this season thus far.

The Crociati will be hosting the Nerazzurri at the Ennio Tardini on Saturday and the tactician admits that the home side will be looking to avoid making past mistakes in order to secure all three points, as they currently sit in last place on the Serie A table with just one win in their first nine matches.

Donadoni spoke during his pre-match press conference on Friday about what Parma need to do against Inter and urged his men to take advantage of the opportunity to earn points at home, while also commenting on the condition of his players.

“It is yet another opportunity we have at home,” said the 51-year-old. “We will try to not give it away like we have in our previous games.

“We have already wasted so many chances at the Tardini, we can no longer do so, and above all, we can no longer give so many goals away, which has unfortunately often been the case. Just too many mistakes.

“We’re thinking of what type of Inter we’ll see tomorrow. We’ll enter the field with the right attitude as we did on Wednesday night against Torino in the second half.

“The opponent has undoubted qualities and may take control, for example, if we move majority of our men forwards or backwards, but it’s our attitude that will matter the most.

“Daniele Galloppa took a knock last week and his condition has worsened recently, so it’s unlikely that he will be available.

“Everyone from the game in Turin will be available despite the fatigue from this latest string of matches. We have been fighting against these problems for some time and we will continue to do so with the forces at our disposal.”
