Stadio Ennio Tardini by Sassuolo on Saturday evening.
The Nervoverdi scored through Sergio Floccari, Francesco Acerbi and Saphir Taider and although Parma were able to pull one back via Antonio Cassano, it was all too late in the game to turn the tide.
The result worsens the Ducali’s position in the Serie A table, as they currently sit at the bottom of it with just three points from eight games.
“Tonight we gave it away too easily and it became detrimental,” said a beleaguered Donadoni post match.
“We cannot afford mistakes at this time as we pay for them heavily especially on a psychological level. It’s a problem we have to solve quickly.
“We have lost seven times and therefore there is very little to be happy about.”
The former Italy coach then complained about his injury list as he revealed important players such as Ishak Belfodil, Daniele Galloppa and Raffaele Palladino were ruled out for this game.
“I cannot say anything to my boys who have come off the field after running for 90 minutes. But it is clear that it is not enough to run, but you have to run well and most importantly do not give chances to the opponents.”
Following Parma’s defeat to Sassuolo, rumors surrounding Donadoni’s future at the club have tremendously gained momentum and it remains to be seen if the Italian will still remain at the helm when they face Torino on Thursday.
