Fiorentina are looking into terminating the contract of Moroccan striker Mounir El Hamdaoui.

El Hamdaoui joined the Viola back in the summer of 2012 from Dutch giants Ajax but has been unable to crack the starting eleven since joining.

According to La Nazione, Fiorentina are looking to terminate the strikers contract free of charge allowing El Hamdaoui to leave for Tunisia where there is said to be teams interested in signing the 30-year-old.

Another sign pointing to the strikers exit is Fiorentina’s coach Vincenzo Montella constantly keeping El Hamdaoui out of the squad even with injuries to star strikers Giuseppe Rossi and Mario Gomez.

The Moroccan has only featured in 19 matches for Fiorentina since joining while scoring three goals.
