Fiorentina are set to award Juan Cuadrado a new contract, which will contain a buy-out clause for the Colombian winger.

The 26-year-old, who shot to prominence in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, will be tied to a €35 million buy-out clause, which must be met for prospective buyers- thought to include Manchester United and Arsenal- to be allowed to speak to Cuadrado.

The deal could be completed in the next three weeks, according to firenzeviola.it, with final talks to be held after the winger has returned from international duty.

Cuadrado, who was on the bench for Colombia’s 3-0 friendly win over El Salvador, will also earn a substantial increase in his current €1m per season wages.

The Viola return to Serie A duties as they host Lazio on Sunday; a game Cuadrado faces a tight schedule to get back in time for- as Colombia face Canada on Wednesday morning in New Jersey, USA.
