AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani could not hide his delight on Sunday after the Rossoneri rolled to a 3-1 victory over Hellas Verona.
The win sees the Diavolo climb to fourth place on 14 points, but Galliani was adamant the result was important because it confirmed several positives for the Milan club.
“A victory that gives us a positive outcome with a lot of optimal factors,” he told Milan Channel after the match.
“I really liked [Christian[ Abbiati’s performance, Essien as a quality playmaker, the six goals from Honda, El Shaarawy and Torres.
“On Torres I spoke to Pippo recently and he told me he always makes the right movements.
El Shaarawy looked angered when being substituted but the vice-president downplayed the incident.
“He only said nice things so I won’t scandalize over it. It is normal that he wants to play. Now there are only more methods of communication so everything that happens is seen.
“There is no problem.”
