Inter’s Hernanes praised his team’s spirit after his late goal against Napoli to seal a 2-2 draw.
Inter were experiencing a poor run of form coming into this game, having lost their last two Serie A games. The Nerazzurri showed great spirit to mount their fightback and snatch a point at the San Siro.
“We were a real group tonight, finally attacking together as a team,” Hernanes said to Sky Sport Italia.
“After two defeats, we managed to bring home a point and send a signal.
“We are beginning to take shape. Our season starts here.”
Hernanes headed in Inter’s equalizer in the 91st minute, a minute after Jose Callejon seemed to have sealed the points for Napoli.
