Borussia Dortmund striker Ciro Immobile believes that the Bundesliga is harder and more competitive than Serie A.
The 24-year-old recently joined Dortmund during the summer transfer window from Torino and shown improved performances recently after getting off to a slow start.
“Here [in Germany] we play a different style of football. Smaller teams always fight to the end,” he told the official Bundesliga website.
“And definitely the Bundesliga is a more difficult league [than Serie A].
He also addressed trying to replace Robert Lewandowski.
“The name of Lewandowski will remain forever in the history of Borussia Dortmund for what he has done with the club, as will my name remain with Torino.
“However I am proud that the club chose me to replace the Polish international and it has given me so much confidence.”
