Inter are facing an injury crisis as full back Danilo D’Ambrosio has broken down in training and will miss up to six weeks of action.

The club already have Daniel Osvaldo and Mateo Kovacic on the sidelines, both having picked up knocks whilst on international duty with their respective countries.

Sky Sport Italia reports that D’Ambrosio has a lesion to the collateral medial ligament in his right kneef which is likely to keep him out for six weeks.

Fortunately for the Nerazzurri, scans have not found any tears to Kovacic’s adductor and his recovery times are expected to be much quicker than previously believed.

Italy international Osvaldo left Antonio Conte’s squad early last week with a similar problem to his Croatian team mate.  However, the striker has more damage to the muscle and is expected to miss a month of action.
