Inter midfielder Gary Medel will reportedly miss out on the Biscione’s upcoming Europa League clash with Saint-Etienne due to injury.
The Nerazzurri will be hosting the Ligue 1 side at the San Siro on Thursday without the help of the 27-year-old after he picked up a knock to his left calf while training for the match and it is yet to be known how long he will be out of coach Walter Mazzarri’s line up.
According to Sky Sport Italia 24, the Chilean international will be undergoing a series of tests in order to evaluate the seriousness of his injury and the club will then determine whether or not he’ll be fit in time for Inter’s next Serie A meeting with Cesena on October 26.
The Milan side will be entering the Europa League group stage match against Saint-Etienne with two wins in their last five games in all competitions, while the French club have only won one out of their last five.
