Fredy Guarin was delighted with the character Inter showed in beating Qarabag 2-0 in the Europa League.
The Nerazzurri had been beaten 4-1 by Cagliari at the weekend but Guarin is looking for Inter to improve further.
“It was important to win after the heavy defeat on Sunday,” Guarin told Inter Channel.
“It was good to recover, even if we did not play a great game. We showed great character.
“I was lucky enough to play the full 90 minutes, I feel fine, but I think we’re doing well.
“Now we head off to Fiorentina where we will have to play even better if we are to come up on top.”
