Italian giants Inter have taken an interest in Arsenal forwards Lukas Podolski and Joel Campbell.

The Nerazzurri want to add to their forward line in January and provide back-up for the likes of Mauro Icardi, Rodrigo Palacio and Pablo Osvaldo.

According to The Daily Star, Inter are looking at Podolski and Campbell but it is not clear whether Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger wants to let both of them go.

It has also been reported that the Nerazzurri’s chase for Liverpool striker Fabio Borini has also cooled down.

Both Podolski and Campbell have struggled for playing time with the English Premier League club and they are behind the likes of Danny Welbeck and Alexis Sanchez in the pecking order.

It must be noted that the duo have been linked with moves to the Italian peninsula in the past with Podolski being linked with a move to Juventus and Campbell being transfer target for AC Milan during the summer.
