Filippo Inzaghi AC MilanFollowing his side’s 1-1 draw at Cagliari, AC Milan head coach Filippo Inzaghi declared his satisfaction with the result, but also his urge to win again.

The Rossoneri grabbed a second consecutive draw to take their position to third place in the Serie A table, and level on 16 points with Udinese and Sampdoria.

“We’re happy, but we should not look at the standings, but to each game,” said the coach to Mediaset Premium.

“Today was a tough match, Cagliari had rested a little bit more than we did, [and] we got a positive result. However, against Palermo we think that we will find the three points that we lack at the moment.”

Inzaghi also remained optimistic that Fernando Torres and Stephan El Shaarawy will start banging in the goals soon.

“Torres? I see it working out very well, with the right spirit,” the tactician said. “Maybe now he’s not finding the goal and when this happens it becomes so difficult, as with El Shaarawy.

“It is ironic that we have the best attack in the league, but our strikers have scored least.”
