Lichtsteiner - JuventusThe contract negotiations between Juventus and Stephan Lichtsteiner continue to prolong as both parties are still some way from reaching an agreement.

The Switzerland international’s contract is set to expire at the end of June 2015, but the player and his entourage are holding out for an increase in wages whilst the Bianconeri seem reluctant on meeting said demands.

Tuttosport reveals that the wingback is requesting a three-year deal with €3 million net per season. The Turin-based giants, however, are offering him €2 million plus bonuses, thus making the saga an endless one.

Reports suggest that Paris Saint Germain have long been interested in the player, and Arsenal have also entered the race to sign him should he refuse the Old Lady’s offer, forcing the 30-year-old to consider his options.

Having moved to Lazio in 2008 from Lille, Lichty, as he is known among the Juve faithful, has notched up almost 200 Serie A appearances in his career thus far, winning a Coppa Italia with the Biancocelesti and three Scudetti with the Bianconeri in the process.
